SubJara ("we", "us", or "our") is a product of Jota Innovations Limited, a company registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission of Nigeria. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information when you use our platform, located at https://subjara.com.

b. Group Data

• Group name, member list, dues plans, collection history
• Admin actions such as plan creation, withdrawal requests, etc.

c. Payment Data

• Payment metadata: amount, currency, reference ID, status
• Transaction timestamps and associated plan/group

Note: We do not collect or store card numbers, CVV, PIN, or bank account numbers. All payment processing is handled by Paystack, our secure payment provider.

d. Technical Data

• Device type, browser, and IP address
• Referral source and usage behavior (e.g. time spent, pages visited)
• Firebase authentication logs (for security)

e. Communications

• Emails or messages sent to our support team
• Feedback or responses to in-app surveys

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your data for the following purposes:

• To create and manage your account
• To allow you to create groups and collect dues
• To process payments via Paystack
• To notify you about activity (e.g. new payments, reminders, disbursements)
• To provide customer support
• To improve the SubJara platform

3. Who We Share Your Data With

We do not sell your data. We only share your data with:

a. Service Providers

• Paystack – for payment processing
• Firebase (Google) – for authentication, database, and hosting
• Google Analytics – for understanding platform usage

b. Legal Authorities

We may disclose personal data if required to do so by law or in response to valid legal requests (e.g., subpoenas, court orders).

4. How We Protect Your Information

We take data security seriously and implement industry-standard measures to protect your information, including:

• Encrypted connections (HTTPS)
• Firebase authentication and access control
• Hashed passwords
• Server-side access logging and role-based permissions
• Limited staff access to sensitive user data

However, no system is completely secure. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your password and account.

SubJara is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If we become aware that a user is underage, we will delete the account promptly.
